Integration Overview

Assistant is the most common way to integrate AI into applications. It is a powerful tool that can be used to build a wide range of applications, from simple chatbots to complex virtual assistants.

When customizing an assistant with TaskingAI, there are some settings that are strongly bound to the assistant. We call those settings to be basic settings, for example name, system prompt template, memory setting.

There are also some settings that have their independent management modules, for example retrievals, tools. These modules can be re-used across different AI products you build at Tasking AI, and is not bound to Assistants. These settings are called integrated settings.

In this guide, we will focus on the integrated settings, and how to integrate them into an assistant.
