How Billing Works

TaskingAI aims to build a trustworthy and transparent billing system. We want to make sure that you understand how you are being charged and what you are being charged for. This document explains how billing works on TaskingAI's platform.

Billing Structure​

The TaskingAI platform has a two-level structure for management: Organization and Project. Project is the minimal unit of managing your AI resources including Models, Assistants, Retrievals, and Tools. Organization is a collection of Projects and is used to manage billing and access controls. For example:

  • Organization O1 that represents a consumer brand A
    • Project P1 that represents a product recommendation system for brand A
    • Project P2 that represents a customer service assistant for brand A
  • Organization O2 that represents a consumer brand B
    • Project P3 that represents a internal employee training assistant for brand B

In terms of billing, Organization is the minimal unit of billing. You will be billed based on all the resources you use in a Organization, summing up from all of its projects.

Billing types​

Currently TaskingAI only charges for the subscription plan of the Organization, and subscription plans are charged on a monthly basis.

More options of billing types will be available in the future.

Subscriptions​

Each Organizations are associated with exactly one subscription plan (Free/Pro/Team/Customized). Newly created Organizations are automatically assigned to the Free plan. You can upgrade your subscription plan at any time.

Subscriptions are invoiced and charged on a monthly basis. The billing cycle starts on the day you subscribe to a paid plan.
